Masks effectiveness for preventing the spread of diseases or Covid-19 is questionable!
Scientists and healthcare professionals have been debating for months with conflicting reports the efficacy of masks in preventing the spread of Covid-19. Now, a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that masks may not be effective at all.
Masks Effectiveness as per CDC Report (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
The recent report, conducted by a team of scientists from the CDC, reviewed over 17 different studies from around the world and found that masks offer very little benefit in reducing the transmission of the coronavirus. Additionally, the report noted that masks do not prevent the virus from being spread through the air. Moreover, the report noted that masks do not stop the virus from being spread through people who are asymptomatic.
Robert Malone: mRNA Technology, Vaccine Scientist, Vaxx skeptic
Robert Malone, vaccine scientist, invented the mRNA technology and is concerned about how the technology is being developed and implemented.
Based on the evidence and data, the scientists concluded that, while masks may offer some protection, they may not be enough to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In addition, the report found that wearing a mask can give people a false sense of security. As a result, they may take more risks and potentially increase the spread of the virus.
However, some health experts insist that effectiveness for preventing the spread of diseases in general can be increased through improved sanitation, adequate vaccinations, and attention to personal hygiene.
Masks Effectiveness: A Study Conducted at University of California
As a matter of fact, the findings of this report echo another recent research. Researchers at the University of California conducted a thorough study finding that indeed masks did not reduce the incidence of Covid-19 among healthcare workers and other individuals who were tested for the virus. Similarly, researchers at the University of Toronto found that masks did not reduce the risk of transmission in non-healthcare settings.
Conclusion:
Ultimately, scientists and healthcare professionals agree that masks may offer some protection but are not enough to stop the spread of the virus. Not to mention that the CDC report suggests the public should focus on other measures such as social distancing, frequent hand washing and avoiding large gatherings to help reduce the spread of the virus.
In conclusion, people should also be aware that wearing a mask does not replace other important safety measures such as avoiding close contact with people who may be infected and not touching their face.
Cheers!
